Don’t get me wrong: I think it’s awesome that Macy Gray doesn’t feel the need to conform to the typical standards for celebrity fashion (in fact, it’s fairly obvious that she doesn’t conform to any standards at all — celebrity or otherwise). And it’s true, the singer certainly has a, erm, unique sense of style. But I seriously doubt it’s a style that anyone else would want to emulate.
Nevertheless, Gray is designing her own clothing collection for the fall, called “Humps.”
While it’s great that she’s designing for “voluptuous, curvaceous girls,” as it can certainly be hard to find good-looking designer clothes in larger sizes. But it’d be even better if the clothes were designed by somebody who didn’t dress like Garth from Wayne’s World.
