It’s Adidas’ 60th anniversary and the brand is having a party — on TV at least — and the guest of honor is Adidas Originals. The German athletic apparel giant is giving its lifestyle brand, Originals, its first U.S. TV advertising ever: A 30-second spot featuring music stars like Katy Perry, DMC (of Run-DMC) and Method Man cavorting with sports phenoms David Beckham and Kevin Garnett.

hey hey! below you’ll find the brand new cover of STAR magazine - out early this week because of the holiday (i’m thrilled to have two whole days off from work (plus the weekend) which only happens like once a year) the main story is about hollywood bodyguards supposedly telling all (wouldn’t it be hilarious if they tried to pin all of those bullet points below the headline on oprah winfrey?!?) i love the picture of britney spears - it’s a throwback to her crazy days - which i do miss sometimes (they were like the golden days of celebrity blogging - each & everyday there was something wacky going on with her for quite a spell) but obviously she was in a very bad place and i’m thrilled she’s on the brink of a huge comeback! oh lordy! although the finale is still airing here in los angeles - i found out via the east coast that brooke burke & her adorable ‘ken doll’ partner derek hough took the winners title in this season’s dancing with the stars - she was an incredible dancer but i was really rooting for lance bass but everything seemed to be pointing to ms. burke - there was no upset tonight - it all went down as everyone predicted - hello boring! i didn’t write about this show all that much here on popbytes - i did watch the whole season but i was never really inspired to post about it - it’s a show that nobody really wants to admit to tuning into - yet there’s this total guilty pleasure factor to the spectacle! popbytes over & out for now…xoxo

hey hey! once again katie holmes was spotted out & about in NYC with daughter suri cruise in tow (right now she’s hollywood’s hottest tot) the two went to magnolia bakery in the west village for chocolate iced cupcakes - of course suri brought along a girl’s best friend - her dolly! although i’m not a huge fan of tom cruise or his ’stepford wife’ katie - but their daughter is just way too adorable - i don’t even really like kids all that much but i’d totally take her in if she needed a home! poor thing obviously needs a better social life than prancing around new york city w/ mommy in a scientology signature blue dress - i’d love to see her chill out with shiloh-nouvel jolie-pitt or kingston rossdale - maybe when ms. holmes is done with her broadway stint and the cruise clan moves back to los angeles we’ll see a little more social action for suri! before i sign off for the evening - i’ve got to mention that thing katie has wrapped around her waist - it looks like a ratty flannel nightgown found at a yard sale (i know the economy is tough but girl come on!) she’s so needs to stow away any dreams of having her own fashion line - girlfriend needs serious style help from tim gunn or carson kressley ASAP! popbytes over & out for tonight…xoxo
